Halo Waypoint es una nueva descarga disponible en la tienda de Live Arcade de tu 360 que busca aumentar la experiencia de los adictos a esta saga. El Halo Waypoint se descarga de forma gratuita y queda almacenado como un juego más de Arcade aunque en sí mismo no es un juego, sino que es una especie de canal donde podrás consultar varias cosas por venir y tus logros a lo largo del tiempo.
Del lado de los juegos en sí, esta descarga te permite ver tus logros (achievements) de Halo 3, Halo Wars y Halo 3: ODST en orden y descripción, pero mejor aún es que según cuántos logros tengas se te dará un rango con lo cual podrás conseguir ciertos accesorios para tu avatar (sí, los famosos Awards) como playeras de ODST. ¡Ah! pero si buscas los accesorios difíciles tendrás que esforzarte más ya que algunos de ellos como el casco de Recon para tu avatar solo podrán desbloquearse haciendo los logros etiquetados como «Vidmaster».
En lo que toca a noticias y comunidad, Halo Waypoint contiene un trailer denominado «Babysitter» en el que podrás ver un pedazo de un capítulo de la serie Halo Legends, la serie animada de Halo que está en pleno desarrollo. Además de entrevistas con los desarrolladores, novedades de otros proyectos por venir como Halo Reach entre muchas otras curiosidades de las cuales estaremos informando en estos días.
Si posees 2 ó más juegos de Halo, definitivamente debes tener esta descarga para enriquecer tu experiencia.
